Sala Cereali Chestnut Honey is produced in apiaries in the Valtellina mountains from the nectar of the surrounding flowering chestnuts. This chestnut honey is extraordinarily versatile and is the richest in minerals. Amber coloured, it has an aromatic, herbal and pungent aroma with a slightly bitter and tannic aftertaste. Ideal with sweet, medium aged cheeses, ricotta or grilled meat.

Since 1906, Sala Cereali have been sourcing local cereals and raw ingredients from the Valtellina region. Their cereals and legumes are selected with extreme care and special attention to all stages of production and packaging.
