The sweetness and lightness of candied apples meet the enveloping and spicy scent of cinnamon. A classic but always special combination, reminiscent of the tradition of genuine flavours and winter evenings by the fireplace. Gran Galup with Candied Apple and Cinnamon is covered with IGP Piedmont Hazelnut icing, enriched with granulated sugar and whole toasted almonds.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Candied Apple 21% (Apple, Glucose/Fructose Syrup, Sucrose, Concentrated Lemon Juice), Butter (Milk), Sugar, Egg Yolk of Fresh Class A from Free Range Hens 8%, Natural Yeast (Wheat Flour, Water), Emulsifiers: Mono and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids, Whole Milk 3%, Invert Sugar Syrup, Cinnamon 0,1%, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Cocoa Butter, Salt, Barley Malt Extract, Honey, Natural Extract of Vanilla Berries and Natural Flavours.

Frosting Ingredients 11%: Sugar, White Egg of Class A from Free Range Hens, “Nocciola Piemonte IGP‘’ (Piedmont Hazelnut) 9%, Rice Flour, Rice Starch, Sugar Icing (Sugar, Wheat starch), Sunflower Seed Oil, Natural Flavours. Garnished with Sugar Grains 5% and Whole Almonds 3%. May contain traces of other nuts and soy.

Meet the Makers

In 1922, Galup was created by Pietro and Regina Ferrua as a small pastry shop in Pinerolo, a town nestled in the northwestern region of Piemonte. Galup in Piedmontese dialect means greedy and delicious. Day by day, their pastries became the most beloved in town, thanks to their secret: use only the highest quality ingredients, from a well-maintained mother yeast to IGP hazelnuts from Piemonte to fresh cage-free eggs. Today, the family-run company continues to create their traditional beloved treats following the same recipes.
